MUSCAT: Even as the whole country is trying its best to stop the spread of coronavirus pandemic, Muscat Municipality workers— the unsung heroes— have been working tirelessly, risking their lives. How? From 7am to 7pm everyday they are busy cleaning our streets working tirelessly, putting their life at risk during this epidemic COVID-19.

Apart from clearing garbage off, their main focus is to sanitise public places and streets. Municipality workers work all night to clean and disinfect public areas to guarantee the safety of visitors and residents. “That’s now a routine for them to ensure all of us are safe while going out,” said an official at Muscat Municipality.
