MUSCAT: With an aim to support families affected by the measures to combat coronavirus outbreak in the country the Public Authority for Consumer Protection (PACP), in cooperation with various commercial centers had launched “Sallat Al Khair” initiative.
As per the initiative, for OMR 9, the PACP will provide a basket that has 19 different food commodities. “This is to help low income families who are affected by the measures taken to fight Covid-19,” PACP said on Sunday.
“This will be available in Wilayats that do not have branches of major retailers,” PACP added.
