MUSCAT: Oman on Thursday confirmed nine new cases of coronavirus, taking the total tally to 48, Ministry of Health said.
In a statement issued online, MOH said eight citizens and one expatriate have been tested positive for the virus.
“Three of the cases are linked to contacting with the previous infected cases, while six cases are linked travel to Britain, US, India and Egypt,” MOH added.
