MUSCAT: Ministry of Health (MOH) has clarified that those who are subject to quarantine are not patients, stressing that the procedure is a precaution that must be followed in order to protect their families and the rest of the community.
His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Al Saidi, Minister of Health on Saturday confirmed that 1,320 people have been quarantined so far. However, MOH issued a statement to clarify that the procedure is only a “precautionary measure.”
“This is a precautionary measure for their arrival from the regions where cases of coronavirus were recorded,” the Ministry added.
On Saturday, MOH confirmed that one among the six coronavirus cases in the country have been recovered.
