Muscat: Oman’s Ministry of Health has advised travellers who came from Iran after February 9, 2020 to stay in their homes and contact MOH’s call center on 24441999 or the nearest health institution in order to guide them on the necessary procedures for quarantine.
“In the event of symptoms such as fever, cough, shortness of breath and sore throat, the Ministry of Health also called for the necessity of contacting the call center or the nearest health center,” MOH said in a statement on Friday.
Oman on Thursday reported six cases of coronavirus. All six people had travelled to Iran. According to MOH, all six cases are in stable condition.
