MUSCAT: After a temporary closure, Naseem Garden has been reopened for public, Muscat Municipality said on Thursday.

The park which was supposed to be served as the main venue for the 2020 Muscat Festival was temporarily closed in December for maintenance. However, following the demise of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said bin Taimur, the festival was cancelled.

In a statement issued on Thursday, Muscat Municipality said: “The municipality announces the reopening of Naseem Public Park from today. We wish you to spend the best times in the park and hope to preserve them, by adhering to the regulations and guidelines that ensure their sustainability.”
