Kochi: Third case of Coronavirus tested positive in Kerala, Health Minister KK Shailaja said on Monday.
The third case is confirmed at Kasaragod district in Kerala. According to the minister the patient is a medical student returned from Wuhan. “The patient is at the isolation ward of govt district hospital, Kanhangad,” she said. This is the third case reported in the southern state in less than a week.
Over 14,500 cases of coronavirus infection have been reported globally so far. Over 350 deaths have been confirmed in China. India and several other countries have undertaken operations to evacuate citizens from the worst affected Wuhan region in China.
