MUSCAT : Oman Meteorology warns of heavy rainfall over most of the northern governorates of Oman on Thursday, caused by the air depression.
In a statement issued, Oman Met said: “Chances of heavy rain will continue today, Thursday, in most of the northern governorates of the Sultanate, with quantities ranging from 20 to 60 mm.”
This includes governorates of Muscat, North Al Sharqiyah, South Al Sharqiah, Al Dakhiliyah, Al Dhahirah, North Al Batinah and South Al Batinah.

“The Civil Aviation Authority advises public to take precautions during thundershowers, flow of wadi and unstable sea state and to follow its latest weather bulletins and reports,” the statement added.
