Oman was my home for nearly 25 years. During this period, i greatly admired His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al Said, for his benevolent leadership, magnanimity, farsightedness, generosity, tolerance, concern for education of not only the Omani youth, but also children of other nationalities in Oman.
We had the privilege of witnessing the transformation of the country into a modern welfare state with unprecedented advancement in all areas. For this reason, as well as his work in bringing about peace in the region, His Majesty was greatly admired and loved by all. His death is a tremendous loss to all residents in Oman and to the world. We pray that His Majesty may enjoy his eternal reward.
May the Almighty give Oman another great ruler for the years to come.
