She graduated with a Master Degree from Sultan Qaboos University Hospital, Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. She pursued subspecialization in Paediatrics & Neonatology with Diploma of Child Health from Royal College of Physician & Surgeons of Glasgow; Oman Medical Specialty Board for Paediatrics; Fellowship in Membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health in UK and Fellowship in Neonatology from University of Toronto, Canada.

She has expertise in Emergency Newborn Resuscitation, Advanced Neonatal Critical Care and Intensive Support, Medical Care for Preterm and Low Birth Weight Babies, Medical Care of Hypoxia Ischemic Babies and Therapeutic Hypothermia and Providing Different Modalities of Respiratory Care and Mechanical Ventilation, Routine Neonatal Check up and Follow-up care with Nutrition, Growth and Neurodevelopment, Antenatal Counselling and Follow ups.
