MUSCAT : The Pakistan Social Club Oman and the Oman Pakistan Friendship Association hosted a dinner for visiting Punjab Minister for Housing and Urban Planning Bilal Yasin at Rozna Restaurant in Muscat.
Yasin is visiting Oman to attend the global observance of World Habitat Day 2026. Organisers said Punjab’s chief minister was also expected to attend the event and receive an award.
Pakistan’s Ambassador to Oman, Dr. Syed Naveed Safdar Bokhari, attended the reception alongside senior embassy officials, including Deputy Head of Mission Bilal Hassan, Defence Attaché Capt. Zia Ullah and Trade Counsellor Eshrat Hussain Bhatti.

Representatives of the Pakistan Social Club Oman included Chaudhary Zahid Shakoor, Kashif Ahmed Zaeem, Shaandar Bukhari, Qamar Riaz, William John and Chaudhary M. Ashraf.
The Oman Pakistan Friendship Association was represented by its founder and president, Sheikh Syed Fayyaz Ali Shah, along with Fahad Awais Munir and Emran Rais Siddiqui.
During the reception, Yasin praised Oman’s infrastructure and hospitality and commended the leadership of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, organisers said.
