MUSCAT : Royal Oman Police (ROP) have arrested 17 Asian nationals for allegedly entering the Sultanate illegally in two wilayats of Musandam Governorate.
The arrests were carried out in the Wilayats of Dibba and Bukha by the Musandam Governorate Police Command, the ROP said in a statement on Saturday.
Police did not disclose the nationalities of those arrested or provide details on how they allegedly entered the country.

The ROP said legal procedures against the 17 individuals were being completed.
