Inspections in Oman’s South Sharqiyah target dishdasha compliance and industrial licences

Oman’s Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion has carried out inspection campaigns across South Al Sharqiyah Governorate, focusing on compliance with regulations at men’s tailoring shops, fuel stations and industrial facilities.

MUSCAT : The inspection teams checked men’s tailoring shops to ensure compliance with the standard specifications for the Omani dishdasha, while fuel stations were inspected to verify adherence to regulations and the availability of required basic facilities.

Factories were also included in the campaigns, with inspectors checking the validity of industrial licences and whether establishments were meeting the applicable requirements.

The inspections were conducted by the Department of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion in South Al Sharqiyah as part of efforts to strengthen regulatory compliance across commercial and industrial activities.
