MUSCAT : Running from August 20 to September 6, the campaign is being held under the slogan ‘For a Stable and Safe Consumer Environment for All’. It aims to raise awareness of consumer rights and encourage responsible shopping practices during the back-to-school season.

As part of the campaign, the authority is stepping up inspection activities across the governorates of Oman, focusing on markets and commercial establishments involved in the seasonal shopping period.
Inspection teams will monitor market activity, verify suppliers’ compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and work to curb violations and practices that could undermine consumer rights or market stability.

The campaign is part of the authority’s broader efforts to strengthen consumer awareness and market oversight during major shopping seasons, while supporting supplier compliance and promoting a safe, stable and fair consumer environment.
