The Know India Programme offers diaspora youth an opportunity to experience India’s rich culture, civilisational heritage, history, traditions and diversity while gaining an understanding of contemporary India.
Participants will also be introduced to India’s innovation ecosystem, scientific achievements, technological advancements and democratic values, along with India’s development vision under Viksit Bharat @2047.
Launched in 2003–04, KIP is an engagement initiative of the Government of India aimed at strengthening the connection between young members of the Indian diaspora and their ancestral homeland. The programme also seeks to encourage diaspora youth to participate in India’s developmental journey and contribute to the country’s progress.
For applicants in Oman, the Embassy said the programme guidelines and application form are available through its official channels. Completed applications can be submitted to edu.muscat@mea.gov.in.
