MUSCAT – The authority said the platform will serve as the official electronic portal for receiving annual reports, in accordance with Article 10 of the Climate Affairs Management Regulations, which requires licensed entities to submit annual reports on their climate-related performance.
Companies and institutions have been urged to complete the registration process as soon as possible to ensure they are ready to meet the reporting deadlines specified under the regulations.
As part of the registration process, organisations are required to create an account on the Manakh platform, complete the necessary information and nominate a point of contact to participate in a training programme. The Environment Authority said it will coordinate with registered entities to schedule training sessions.
According to the authority, the platform is designed to standardise reporting procedures, improve the management and exchange of climate-related data, and strengthen monitoring and compliance with regulatory requirements.
