Kinshasa: The Democratic Republic of Congo announced that the number of confirmed Ebola cases has increased to 1,274, with 360 people having died from the disease.
Health authorities did not disclose which regions have been most severely affected by the outbreak, nor did they announce any new measures aimed at curbing the spread of the virus.
The latest figures come as authorities continue efforts to contain the outbreak and prevent further transmission in affected communities.
