RIYADH : Three Saudi citizens were killed and several people of different nationalities were injured in two attacks on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh on Thursday, Saudi Arabia’s civil aviation authority said.
The first attack targeted airport facilities and the second struck a Saudi Airlines aircraft, the authority said.
The injured were taken to hospital, with injuries ranging from minor to serious. The authority did not specify how many people were hurt.

Flight operations at the airport were suspended, it said, adding that air traffic was expected to return to normal. It gave no timetable for resuming flights.
