MUSCAT : His Excellency Abdul Salam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, Chairman of the Oman Investment Authority (OIA), received a Russian delegation led by Maxim Reshetnikov, Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, who is currently visiting Oman.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed prospects for joint cooperation and explored promising investment opportunities aligned with the priorities of both countries. They also discussed existing cooperation in key sectors, including energy, infrastructure, logistics, food security, and information technology.
The talks further focused on expanding economic and investment partnerships, strengthening collaboration between the public and private sectors, and supporting efforts toward economic integration and sustainable development in both countries.
Both sides stressed the importance of deepening bilateral economic ties and opening new avenues for cooperation that serve mutual interests.
The meeting was attended by the Russian Ambassador to Oman, senior officials from the Oman Investment Authority, and chief executives of several OIA-affiliated companies.
