MUSCAT : In response to anticipated heavy rains, officials have confirmed that the Mountain Road connecting Aqabat Al-Amirat and Bousher will be closed until further notice. The move has been taken as a precautionary measure to ensure public safety, particularly due to the increased risk of slippery conditions, reduced visibility, and potential flash floods in mountainous areas.
Motorists are advised to avoid the affected route and instead use designated alternative roads to reach their destinations.
