Authorities said efforts have focused on maintaining critical infrastructure, including roads, electricity, telecommunications, water supply, wastewater systems, fuel and cooking gas distribution, as well as public cleaning and waste management services.
Since the situation began, coordination has been ongoing with monitoring and early warning units, with an operations centre activated around the clock to enhance response efficiency. This has been carried out in coordination with the National Emergency Management Centre, along with military and security authorities and local emergency committees across governorates.
The sector has also activated business continuity plans and emergency response strategies across affiliated entities, raising preparedness levels to address any potential disruptions.
Officials stressed the importance of public cooperation, urging residents to report emergencies through designated hotlines, including electricity (1011), water and wastewater (1442), waste management (1881), and telecommunications (1000), or through service providers.
