MUSCAT : The decision, issued in coordination with the National Committee for Emergency Management and based on alerts from the National Multi-Hazard Early Warning Centre, applies to Muscat, North Al Batinah, South Al Batinah, Musandam Governorate, Al Buraimi Governorate, Al Dhahirah Governorate, Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, and North Al Sharqiyah Governorate.
Authorities said the measure aims to ensure public safety as heavy rainfall continues to impact multiple regions, raising risks of flooding and hazardous travel conditions.
