MUSCAT : In response to ongoing weather conditions, the ROP called on the public to exercise caution and follow key safety guidelines aimed at protecting lives and preventing accidents during periods of intense rainfall.
Authorities have strongly advised residents to avoid venturing into valley channels (wadis) or approaching water bodies, where sudden flooding and strong currents pose significant risks.
Parents have also been urged to closely supervise children and prevent them from playing near water surfaces or the edges of wadis, where conditions can quickly become dangerous.
