MUSCAT: The weather system is currently impacting a wide stretch of the Sultanate, with thunderstorm cells bringing intermittent to heavy rainfall in multiple regions. Areas affected include Musandam, Al Buraimi, Ad Dhahirah, Ad Dakhiliyah, South Al Batinah, North Al Batinah, Muscat, North Ash Sharqiyah, South Ash Sharqiyah, and parts of Al Wusta Governorate.
Meteorological data indicates that the intensity of rainfall varies from one region to another, with some areas experiencing moderate showers while others are witnessing more intense downpours accompanied by thunderstorm activity.
