MUSCAT – From Sunday, March 15 (25th Ramadan) to Wednesday, March 17 (28th Ramadan 1447 AH), slaughterhouses will operate from 7 am to 2 pm for individuals, while businesses and butcher shops may use the facilities from 7 pm to midnight.
On Thursday, 29th Ramadan until the second day of Eid, sheep and lambs will be slaughtered from 7 am to 2 pm, and on Friday from 7 am to 11 am and 2 pm to 4 pm. Cows and camels will be handled from 4 pm to 1 pm.
Companies, butcher shops, and charities planning to use the abattoirs must coordinate with the operating company in advance. Starting from the third day of Eid, Al Seeb Abattoir will operate from 6 am to 4 pm, while Al Amerat Abattoir will be open from 6 am to 1 pm.
