MUSCAT: Oman said a drone was shot down and another fell into the sea north of Duqm without causing any casualties or material damage, according to statements carried by state media on Wednesday.
A security source said Omani authorities intercepted one unmanned aerial vehicle while another crashed into the sea in waters north of Duqm, a major port and industrial hub on the Arabian Sea coast of the Sultanate.
The source confirmed that no human or material losses were recorded as a result of the incident.
