Kuwait: The Omani delegation was headed by His Excellency Mohammed bin Saeed Al Balushi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information.
The meeting reviewed a wide range of key media-related issues, including strengthening Arab media support for the Palestinian cause and following up on the implementation of the Arab media action plan abroad. Discussions also covered the executive plan for the joint Arab media strategy to combat terrorism, as well as the executive programme for the Arab media map aligned with Sustainable Development Goals 2030.
Participants further addressed the development of a unified Arab approach to engaging with international media companies, alongside efforts to promote quality, professionalism, and excellence in media work. Emphasis was placed on building the capacities of Arab media professionals, content creators, and influencers, and on advancing the Arab strategy for media and information literacy.

The session also reviewed recommendations from expert teams on media engagement with environmental issues and examined the role of media in promoting Arab identity, culture, and values. In addition, discussions explored the growing use of artificial intelligence technologies in Arab media and their impact on the human element within the sector.
