MUSCAT : Oman’s Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi and French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Noël Barrot held a telephone conversation to review the latest developments in the region, Oman’s state news agency said Saturday.
The two ministers exchanged views on regional relations and the evolving situation surrounding Iran, according to the report. They also discussed international efforts to support de-escalation and stressed the importance of encouraging all parties to return to the negotiating table to resolve outstanding issues through dialogue.
