MUSCAT : His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has conferred the Order of the Royal Commendation (First Class) on Sayyid Khalid Al Busaidi as part of the Accession Day celebrations, in recognition of his contributions to the arts and culture.
The honour was granted by His Majesty and presented on his behalf by His Excellency Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of the Royal Court, during a ceremony held to mark Accession Day, which commemorates His Majesty’s assumption of power.
Sayyid Khalid Al Busaidi is the chairman of SABCO Group, one of Oman’s leading business conglomerates, and has been associated with initiatives that support cultural and artistic development alongside his corporate leadership.
