Muscat: The medal was presented by His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik bin Taimur Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, during a formal reception held in honour of His Excellency at His Highness’s office in Al Murtafa’a Camp.
The award reflects Oman’s appreciation of His Excellency Houngbo’s contributions to strengthening global labour dialogue and advancing collaborative frameworks at the international level. The ceremony was attended by His Excellency Dr. Mahad bin Said Ba’awain, Minister of Labor, and His Excellency Ambassador Idris bin Abdulrahman Al-Khanjari, Permanent Representative of the Sultanate of Oman to the United Nations and International Organizations in Geneva.
