MUSCAT : Lebanese President Joseph Aoun concluded his official visit to Oman on Wednesday after holding talks with His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik that focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation and addressing regional developments.
During the visit, the two leaders instructed their governments to begin preparations for the inaugural session of the Oman–Lebanon Joint Committee, which will serve as a platform to expand cooperation in trade, investment, culture and scientific exchange. Officials said the move reflects a shared intention to “open a new phase” in bilateral relations.
