MUSCAT : Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will visit Oman later this month to inaugurate the Indian Community Festival (ICF) at Amerat Park in Muscat, a major cultural gathering organised by the Kerala Wing of the Indian Social Club Oman.
The three-day festival, formerly known as Keralotsavam, will run from October 23 to 25 and is expected to attract more than 50,000 visitors, including senior Omani officials, business leaders, and members of the Indian community.
Prominent guests expected to attend include Lulu Group Chairman M.A. Yusuff Ali, Galfar Engineering and Contracting Co-Founder Dr. P. Mohamed Ali, and other dignitaries from Oman and India.

A concert by Kanal, a popular Kerala band, will headline the entertainment line-up, alongside exhibitions, food stalls, and family-friendly attractions celebrating India’s diversity and Oman’s artistic heritage.
The festival will also feature the Muscat Science Fest, a science exhibition and competition for school students focusing on environmental awareness and artificial intelligence, to be inaugurated by Indian scientist Ratheesh Krishna.
Organisers said the event aims to strengthen cultural exchange and friendship between Oman and India while celebrating the shared spirit of creativity and community among residents of both countries.
