MUSCAT : The Board of Directors of Oman Tourism Development Company (OMRAN Group) has announced that Dr. Hashil Obaid Al Mahrouqi has stepped down from his position as Chief Executive Officer.
In a statement, the Board extended its sincere appreciation to Dr. Hashil for his dedicated leadership and strategic contributions, which played a vital role in advancing OMRAN’s mission of driving sustainable tourism development and strengthening Oman’s global tourism profile.
Since assuming the role of CEO in 2020, Dr. Hashil has overseen a period of significant growth and transformation for OMRAN Group, leading key projects and partnerships that enhanced the Sultanate’s hospitality landscape and attracted international investment.

To ensure business continuity and sustained progress, the Board has appointed Saif Sulaiman Al Yarubi, the Group’s Chief Financial Officer, as Acting Chief Executive Officer in addition to his current responsibilities.
