Muscat: During his meeting with the Council of Ministers at Al Mamourah Palace in Salalah, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik — may God support him — emphasized the need to strengthen the role of the national employment platform “Tawteen” in generating job opportunities for Omani citizens.
The Council highlighted the importance of establishing a suitable mechanism to increase the number of registered companies on the platform and to complete the integration of related databases, ensuring its data can be effectively utilized to match job supply with demand.
Launched in December 2024, Tawteen serves as a unified hub for employment data. It provides detailed information on job supply and demand, lists vacancies across the public and private sectors, and maintains updated records on jobseekers.
