MUSCAT – The agreement was signed as part of the Comex Global Technology Exhibition 2025.
This initiative is part of the framework to adopt advanced digital solutions that support the national economy, contribute to improving the quality of life for employees, and enhance the corporate work environment, thus advancing the Sultanate’s broader shift toward a competitive digital economy.
The agreement was signed by His Excellency Sayyid Salim bin Muslim Al Busaidi, Undersecretary for Human Resources Development at the Ministry of Labour, and Engineer Majid bin Fayel Al Amri, Founder and CEO of Thawani.

As part of the collaboration, more than 210,000 government employees and their families are expected to benefit from a wide range of exclusive offers and services across key sectors. Thawani will explore the most effective digital mechanisms to deliver these incentives, including a secure and user-friendly platform, real-time tracking of offers, and detailed reporting systems to measure engagement and service efficiency.

According to His Excellency Sayyid Al Busaidi, this cooperation embodies an advanced partnership between the public and private sectors in providing digital economic services that support entrepreneurship and expand the national economy. it is in line with global trends in building a more inclusive, sustainable digital economy that empowers individuals and SMEs.
He added that the move reflects Oman’s commitment to adopting innovative technologies that not only drive economic growth but also support social development and open new opportunities for small and medium enterprises.
Engineer Majid Al Amri also noted that the partnership is a key step toward solidifying Oman’s role in the regional digital economy. He explained that the transition to a digital economy is no longer an optional, but rather a strategic necessity to foster sustainable growth and enhance Oman’s competitiveness in regional and international markets.
It is pertinent to note that the ‘Ejada’ system, implemented by the Ministry of Labour, is a key tool for measuring and enhancing the performance of government employees.
