MUSCAT : The workshops brought together 25 Omani tourism companies and more than 150 Indian firms specializing in outbound travel. The initiative aimed to enhance cooperation, attract target groups from India, and spotlight Oman’s unique tourism offerings.
Prominent Indian tour operators and specialized media outlets attended the sessions, reflecting strong interest in Oman as a destination. Presentations by Omani companies highlighted a wide range of tourism packages, facilities, and services, including exclusive offers designed specifically for the Indian market.
Bilateral meetings were also held on the sidelines, allowing both sides to discuss partnership opportunities across tourism sectors to improve competitiveness and draw more Indian travelers to Oman.

Officials emphasized that the campaign is part of a broader strategy to raise awareness of Oman’s tourism assets, highlight its position as a comprehensive global destination, and adapt to evolving visitor preferences.
The Ministry noted that such workshops and international promotions play a critical role in shaping sustainable partnerships, while also helping Oman understand the aspirations of different markets amid rapid shifts in global tourism.
