MUSCAT – The initiative features a wide array of cultural, entertainment, and tourism-focused events aimed at promoting Duqm as a vibrant summer destination.

The campaign seeks to stimulate economic and tourism activity in the area by encouraging travellers, especially those enroute to Dhofar Governorate, to stop and explore Duqm’s attractions. It also aims to support local businesses, hotels, and service providers, while strengthening Duqm’s image as a rising tourist hub.

Targeting families and groups from northern and central Oman, as well as local and Gulf tourists travelling to and from Dhofar, the campaign began with kite displays and folkloric performances that showcased Oman’s rich musical and cultural heritage.

Throughout the campaign, Sai Commercial District Park will host various children’s activities, including a children’s theatre, shopping events, and family-friendly entertainment.
Upcoming highlights of the campaign include a poetry evening, a Duqm hike, a treasure hunt competition, and many other activities that support local activities and boost tourism in the region.
