Under Omani law, human trafficking is defined as the recruitment, transportation, harbouring, or receipt of persons by means such as coercion, deception, abuse of power or vulnerability, or other illicit methods for the purpose of exploitation. This includes forced labour, sexual exploitation, slavery or practices similar to slavery, servitude, and the unlawful removal of organs. Notably, in the case of minors, trafficking is considered a crime regardless of whether coercion or deception is used.
