MUSCAT – The meeting was chaired by His Excellency Sheikh Abdulmalik Abdullah Al Khalili, Chairman of the State Council.

During the meeting, the Chairman of the State Council emphasised the efforts made by the members and the Council’s General Secretariat in efficiently performing their assigned tasks. This, he noted, strengthens the Council’s legislative role during the second ordinary session of its eighth term and ensures responsible work across various activities and events.

The Office also discussed topics on the agenda and reports submitted by members concerning their participation in regional and international council meetings. The meeting further reviewed the activity report of the committees during the period between the previous and current Office meetings.
The meeting was attended by the members of the Office and the Secretary-General of the State Council.
