DUBAI: Announced by the Ministry of Finance, the new budget cycle is part of a strategic approach to public finance development, with a cumulative federal budget across four consecutive cycles reaching AED 900 billion ($245 billion). The plan emphasizes flexibility, policy integration, and efficient governance to meet the nation’s evolving needs.

Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Finance, described the budget as a continuation of the UAE government’s forward-thinking approach, designed to manage resources effectively while staying prepared for future economic and social changes.

A key focus of the new cycle is to prioritize sectors that directly impact the quality of life for citizens and residents. The government will allocate resources to maximize developmental, social, and economic returns, while integrating artificial intelligence and enhancing operational efficiency across ministries.
