Muscat: Trading activity saw a significant slowdown, with the total value plunging by 48.5% to reach RO 8.31 million—down from RO 16.14 million in the prior session.
The latest market report from MSE also noted a decline in overall market value by 0.436%, bringing the total to approximately RO 27.97 billion.
Foreign investment activity reflected a cautious mood, with non-Omani purchases totalling RO 491,000 (5.90%), while non-Omani sales stood higher at RO 1.378 million (16.58%). As a result, net non-Omani investment declined by RO 888,000, or 10.67%.
