Hotel revenues in Oman exceed RO 109 million

The revenues of 3-5-star hotels in the Sultanate of Oman increased by 17.3 percent to reach RO 109,213,000 by the end of April 2025, compared to RO 93,094,000 during the same period in 2024

Muscat – According to statistics issued by the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI), the rise in revenues is attributed to the 8.6 percent increase in the number of hotel guests, recording approximately 831,751 guests by the end of April 2025, compared to 766,153 guests by the end of April 2024.

The occupancy rate also witnessed an increase from 53.4 percent by the end of April 2024 to 61.1 percent by the end of the same month in 2025, recording an increase of 14.4 percent.
The number of guests from Oceania increased by 57.8 percent to reach 18,124 guests, followed by the African continent with a growth of 57.6 percent (5,993 guests); the number of European guests increased by 19.9 percent to reach 314,535 guests.

While the number of guests from the Americas increased by 19.1 percent, reaching 28,843 guests, the number of guests from the Gulf Cooperation Council countries increased by 12.6 percent, reaching 53,642 guests; Asian nationalities recorded a 5.4 percent increase, with the number of guests reaching 114,426 guests.

In contrast, statistics showed a 0.7 percent decrease in the number of Omani residents, reaching 238,895 by the end of April 2025. The number of residents of other Arab nationalities also decreased by 2.3 percent, reaching 32,072 residents.
