MUSCAT : According to the daily report from the Muscat Stock Exchange, the index gained ground compared to the previous session’s close of 4,553.15 points. However, the trading value declined by 4.4%, settling at RO 9,090,338, down from RO 9,511,723.
The market value showed a slight uptick of 0.302%, reaching an estimated RO 27.93 billion.
Non-Omani investors, however, showed a clear retreat. Purchases by non-Omanis stood at RO 436,000 (4.79% of total), while sales reached RO 927,000 (10.19%). This resulted in a net foreign investment drop of RO 491,000—marking a decline of 5.40%.
