MUSCAT : The visit, conducted on June 3, 2025, is part of the CPA’s broader campaign to monitor market conditions and commercial activity across various sectors in the Sultanate of Oman. The initiative aims to ensure market stability, fair pricing, and the availability of essential commodities in the lead-up to the festive season.
During the inspection, CPA officials reviewed the adequacy of supply levels, verified pricing structures, and assessed the overall quality of services provided by suppliers. A key objective of the visit was to ensure suppliers’ full compliance with consumer protection laws and regulations.
The Authority emphasized that such field visits play a critical role in maintaining public trust, particularly during high-demand periods like Eid.
