Muscat – A key directive from the meeting focused on accelerating the implementation of royal decrees pertaining to marriage support funds within Oman’s governorates, aiming for their activation before the end of June.

The Minister highlighted the role of governors in taking executive steps to activate the work of marriage support funds in the governorates, in accordance with the standards to be issued by the Ministry of Interior.

His Excellency also stressed the importance of continuing work in line with the lofty vision of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to enhance the roles of the governorates, and for community efforts in developing the governorates.

A number of topics of common interest were also reviewed and appropriate decisions were taken, in addition to monitoring the implementation status of a number of municipal council recommendations.
