Muscat: Al Buraimi Industrial City has signed 16 investment agreements this year, with a total value of RO 7.97 million. These contracts span a land area of over 165,000 square meters and cover diverse sectors including automotive oils, food products, water, paper, cardboard, and cosmetics manufacturing.
According to Saeed bin Abdullah Al Balushi, Director General of Al Buraimi Industrial City, cumulative investments in the city have now exceeded RO 274 million. He attributed this performance to Madayn’s efforts in building an investor-friendly, competitive ecosystem aligned with Oman Vision 2040 goals—fostering economic diversification, sustainability, job creation, and SME support.
Al Balushi also highlighted the strategic Mahdha-Buraimi Road dualization project, currently being developed in collaboration with relevant authorities. The road will connect the industrial city’s two phases and significantly improve logistics by facilitating smoother access and movement for investors and businesses.
