Muscat: In a major development, Al Seeb Technical Establishment (SARCO) LLC, in partnership with Samsung, announced a significant strategic development. As of 1st April 2025, SARCO has assumed the role of sole authorized distributor for Samsung Consumer Electronics across all channels and product categories in the Sultanate of Oman. This includes independent retailers, indirect organized retailers, operators, B2B clients, and online platforms.
Under this new arrangement, SARCO now manages the full distribution of Samsung’s extensive range of consumer electronics, including but not limited to: refrigerators, washing machines, vacuum cleaners, microwaves, dishwashers, dryers, air purifiers, room air conditioners, televisions, audio systems, and commercial air conditioning & B2B solutions.
This transition from a Fulfillment Distribution to a Full Distribution model enables SARCO to provide enhanced value-added services, greater operational flexibility, and deeper engagement with channel partners and consumers across Oman. Any previously existing distributor arrangements with any other entity for CE business, have been terminated with immediate effect.

The announcement was made during a joint press conference and Strategic Partner Convention held at the Sheraton Hotel in Muscat. The event was attended by distinguished guests from organized and independent retail sectors, government ministries, corporate clients, banking institutions, and media representatives, followed by a gala dinner.
