MUSCAT : District 105 Toastmasters hosted an exclusive Corporate Summit in Muscat on May 13, 2025. Themed “Empowering Employees, Elevating Organizations,” the summit highlighted the transformative potential of the Toastmasters program in cultivating confident communicators and homegrown leaders within the corporate world.



The summit brought together professionals, including senior executives, HR leaders, and communication specialists from organisations across Oman. Organized by the District 105 team, the summit aimed to showcase how Toastmasters’ proven framework for leadership and communication development can empower employees at all levels and contribute to long-term organizational success.
The event opened with an inspiring keynote address on “Unlocking Leadership Potential,” by Dr DTM Saleh Al Khamyasi, a coach, speaker and author (DTM – Distinguished Toastmaster), which explored how organisations can nurture leaders from within by creating an environment of trust, mentorship, and communication excellence. The keynote struck a powerful chord with attendees, many of whom were HR leaders, senior executives and business leaders.

Following the keynote, participants engaged in an introductory session titled “What is Toastmasters?” by Past District Director DTM Yasser Shalwani, designed to provide insights into how Toastmasters International supports personal and professional growth through structured, experiential learning. This session helped demystify the Toastmasters journey and emphasized how corporate clubs can enhance employee confidence, public speaking, and leadership effectiveness.
The summit also had live testimonials from the existing corporate Toastmasters club, which shared how Toastmasters has positively influenced employee morale, communication confidence, and team dynamics within their organisations.
District Director DTM Saiju Victor and Club Growth Director DTM Ramanujam Raghavan were present to share insights and engage with corporate stakeholders, underlining Toastmasters’ commitment to organizational excellence across the region.
The summit concluded with a networking session, allowing attendees to collaborate, share initiatives, and explore future partnerships.
