MUSCAT : This year’s event, to be held from 28 April to 1 May 2025 under the theme ‘Global Travel: Developing Tomorrow’s Tourism Through Enhanced Connectivity’ at Dubai World Trade Centre, brings together more than 2,800 exhibitors from over 160 countries.



The Sultanate of Oman’s delegation is headed by His Excellency Salem bin Mohammed Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Heritage and Tourism, who explained that the Ministry is participating in the exhibition with 37 tourism and hotel companies and establishments representing companies operating in the sector, including a number of small and medium-sized enterprises.
The Minister affirmed that Oman’s participation in the Arabian Travel Market 2025 in Dubai complements its ongoing efforts to enhance its position on the global tourism map as a leading destination offering experiences that meet the aspirations of tourists from around the world.
“Our participation this year aims to strengthen the presence of Omani tourism companies and institutions in global markets, representing various tourism sectors, including small and medium-sized enterprises.
This reflects our commitment to providing new opportunities for these companies to expand their businesses and enhance their competitiveness at the international level,” His Excellency stated.
He further pointed out that the Sultanate seeks, through this exhibition, to attract more international investors and partners. The Omani pavilion will feature a variety of activities, including the signing of strategic partnership agreements with global tourism institutions and the announcement of the Dhofar Khareef 2025 events.
“Our participation in the Arabian Travel Market 2025 is not only for tourism promotion, but also as a platform to showcase our future vision for achieving tourism development that offers different options and experiences in line with the goals of Oman Vision 2040. We are confident that the efforts made will contribute to strengthening the Sultanate of Oman’s position as a global tourist destination distinguished by its authenticity,” His Excellency added.
It is pertinent to note that statistics indicate an increase in the number of passengers traveling by air from the GCC tourism market to the Sultanate of Oman; the figure reached 1,506,688 passengers in 2024.
