MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik on Monday issued a Royal Decree appointing His Excellency Talal bin Sulaiman bin Habib Al Rahbi as Oman’s new Ambassador to the United States of America.
Al Rahbi is currently serving as the Ambassador to Brazil. Al Rahbi who was also the Deputy Secretary General to the Supreme Council for Planning started his career at Majlis Al Shura. He holds an MBA in Public Policy and Management at University of Oregon in US. In 2015, the Late His Majesty Sultan Qaboos, conferred the highest civilian honour on HE Talal Al Rahbi.
